National Parks and Wildlife service have advised that their 1080 baiting program will commence on June 1st.

They say that wild dogs and foxes are being controlled with 1080 aerial baits in Avisford Nature Reserve and Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve.

Bait will be laid from June 1 depending on weather, with National Parks issuing a warning that pets and working dogs may be affected and a recommendation to neighbours to restrain their pets and working dogs and ensure they do not enter the area.
