More People Charged Involved In A Drug Supply Network

Thirty-five people have now been charged in connection with an alleged state-wide drug supply network operating across Sydney’s south west and the Wellington area.

Between February 2019 and late March 2020, 15 people were arrested and charged as a result of ongoing inquiries, and remain before the courts, with a further 18 people were charged late last month.

Tuesday morning, officers from Orana Mid-Western Police District attended a home in Wellington, where they arrested a 27-year-old woman.

She was taken to Wellington Police Station, where she was charged with participate in criminal group and three counts of supply prohibited drug.

Later Tuesday afternoon, officers attended a second home in Wellington where they arrested a 59-year-old man.

He was also taken to Wellington Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug, participate criminal group, goods suspected stolen in/on premises, owner/occupier knowingly allow use as drug premises, and deal with proceeds of crime.
