Max Potential Program Wrapping Up

The 2020 Club Mudgee “Max Potential” program is wrapping up, with an online webinar this Friday from 2pm in place of the usual final showcase event at Club Mudgee.

This year’s program has been unique because of COVID-19, with all involved having to switch rapidly to working online, shortly after it commenced.

Participant, Lucy Campbell, says they are all putting the finishing touches to their final “pitch” film.

"We had a question of how could we help benefit the community after COVID-19, and everyone came up with their own idea like a 'community service project'. So we're putting together a pitch film which involves putting together a plan, as though you're pitching a business idea, for example."

Chris Stephens, representing Rotary as a coach for the first time this year, says working with the young adults is a very positive experience.

"The young adults are involved in this because they want to be. It's really positive to see the effort that they put in."

He also says the coaches also get a lot out of the program.

"As a coach, you're getting trained in business management techniques; how to motivate people, understanding and recording what you've done, and so on."

Places for the webinar are limited but community members connected to participants, or those interested in being part of next year’s program can email for the link, to damian@maxpotential.com.au
