Funding Coming In to Boost Social and Recreational Activities

Member for Dubbo, Dugald Saunders, has announced that applications are now open for the Community Building Partnership Program, unlocking $300,000 for projects in the region.
Mr Saunders, who is currently in the process of announcing successful applicants from the 2019 round of the fund, is urging community groups, not for profits, and councils to apply for funding to help deliver projects that covers social, environmental and recreational outcomes.
He says that local sports clubs, charities, schools and museums are just some of the groups that benefit from this program.
Mudgee Museum was one that has already been announced in the most recent round.
Applications are open now and close at 5pm, Friday 12 June 2020. Applicants must read the program guidelines to ensure their club or organisation and proposed project are eligible.
