Centrelink Mobile Service Centre

The Australian Government Mobile Service Centre 'Kangaroo Paw’ is visiting parts of rural New South Wales, including Rylstone, Kandos and Hill End to offer locals easy access to government payments and services.

The Mobile Service Centre will visit:


·         Rylstone on Tuesday 29 July, from 9 am to 11.30 am, located at Sammy’s Flat parking area Cudgegong Street,

·         Kandos on Tuesday 29 July, from 1 pm to 4 pm, located near Rotunda Park, Angus Avenue,

·         Hill End on Wednesday 30 July, from 10 am to 3.30 pm, located at Wildlife Services Visitors Centre car park, off Hill End Road,

The Mobile Service Centre offers a wide range of services to meet the changing needs of rural and regional communities.

‘Kangaroo Paw’ is staffed by experienced specialist officers who provide friendly face-to-face service, information and support tailored to each community.

Staff can help you with:

  • new claims for a wide range of Centrelink payments
  • updating customer information
  • confirming customer documents and supporting information
  • information on how financial matters may impact on Centrelink payments
  • payment and service options to suit individual circumstances
  • rural payment entitlements for eligible farmers
  • non-cash Medicare transactions
  • Medicare registrations
  • information on Child Support payment and service options
  • specialist support and referrals
  • support with and access to self service facilities
  • free hearing health checks
