There are a number of ANZAC DAY commemorations happening in the region.
In Kandos the dawn service is at the Community Hall at 6.30am, with the march assembling at the rotunda at 10.30, commencing at 10.45am.
A commemorative service will be held at the community hall at 11.
In Rylstone, the dawn service is at 6am at the war memorial and a commemorative service is on at 11 in the Rylstone Hall.
In Mudgee, the dawn service begins at 5:45am at the cenotaph in Robertson Park.
Those taking part in the march are asked to be formed up by 10.15 in front of Club Mudgee.
The commemoration service will commence at 11am at the cenotaph.
Ex and serving personnel are reminded that a reunion luncheon is being held at the Club at 12.30.
In Gulgong, those marching at dawn are asked to assemble outside the Gulgong Fire Brigade building no later than 5.45 am.
The March will set off at 5.55 am to arrive at the Rotunda at 6.00 am when the dawn service will begin.
Those marching later in the morning are asked to assemble outside the Gulgong Fire Brigade building no later than 10.15 am, with the Parade forming up at 10.35 am and will march off at 10.50 am to arrive at the Rotunda at 11.00 am
Hargraves march departs from the recreation grounds at 7:45am, to arrive at memorial for 8am service, followed by breakfast at the hall at $5 per adult and high school student.
Dunedoo are having their dawn service at the war memorial at 6am, and those wishing to participate in the march are asked to form up at 10.45am at the Old Royal Hotel.
Everyone is invited to the services and marches, and ex service personnel, national servicemen and women, reserve forces and serving defence force members are particularly invited to march.
Any member of the public who wishes to march with a relatives’ medals is reminded to wear the medals on their right hand side.
It's advised to arrive a little earlier than the advertised times to avoid disappointment.
