The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment have issued the Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements for the Stubbo Solar Farm.

This means that the proponent of the development must prepare its Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) having regard to those requirements.

The department say that key issues will be its environmental impact statement, having regard to Biodiversity, Heritage, Land, Visual Impact, Noise, transport issues, water, waste & socio-economic impacts.

The proposed Stubbo solar farm would have an estimated capacity of up to 400 MW at the Blue Springs Road site.
