A 22-YEAR-old man has been flown to Westmead hospital after an incident on a Triamble Road property near Hargraves in the early hours of Saturday.

Emergency services got the call shorty before 3am with reports that a man had fallen of the back of a moving vehicle.

Inspector Mark Fehon from Mudgee Police station says that the man was part of a group that were driving on the property before the 22-year-old fell, hitting his head on the ground, where he suffered severe head injuries.

The man was airlifted from the scene in a critical but stable condition.

Inspector Fehon says that it’s a timely reminder to drivers on private properties that they still need to adhere to the road rules, as any incident that leads to serious injuries or death could result in charges against the drivers.
