3 Locals honoured

3 Mudgee Local's were honoured with Order of Australia medals on Monday.


Doug Grigg was honoured for service to the community through emergency response organisations.

These include Lawson Rural Fire Brigade, New South Wales Volunteer Rescue Association, New South Wales State Emergency Service.
And service toThe United Grand Lodge of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.


Ken Sutcliffe for service to the broadcast media, particularly to television.

Ken's work has included Journalist and Sports Presenter, Nine Network, Board Member, Mudgee Region Tourism Incorporated, Patron, Pioneer House, Mudgee.
Australia Day Ambassador, Muswellbrook Shire Council, 2001, Motivational Speaker, Supporter of a range of charitable organisations.


And Hunter White for service to the agricultural show sector, and to the community.

Hunter has worked with the Royal Agricultural Society, Mudgee Show Society, Havilah Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade, Watershed Landcare, Mudgee Race Club. Past President Bligh Amateur Race Club and Governor World Wildlife Fund (Australia)
