The Mudgee Mathematics Minds (M3) challenge will again take place on the 17th October at 10am at St Matthews Central School Mudgee. Teams with students from late Primary to High School from local schools in the region have been invited to participate.

Registration closes on the 22nd September so if your school has not yet registered visit https://mudgeerotary.wordpress.com/projects/numeracy/

A BBQ lunch is provided to participants and teachers at 12:30 to rejuvenate tired brains. The competition will conclude at 2PM after presentation of awards.  Parents and supporters are welcome to attend the competition.

The Maths Challenge is a project of the Rotary Club of Mudgee and aims to foster numeracy as a life skill in day to day life.

Sponsors KEPCO, YanCoal, Peabody Energy and St Matthews School have generously donated funds for prizes, trophies, medals and certificates to be given to participants with total prize money of over $5,250. Schools are able to use the funds for Mathematics Enhancement Programs within the school and to purchase other resources as needed.
