‘Practical conversations around well- being, domestic and family violence including financial abuse, mental health and suicide prevention’
A powerful partnership between two of Australia’s iconic organisations – the Country Women’s Association (CWA) and Lifeline Central West – is set to help the people of Mudgee tackle the tough issues facing their community by connecting with and supporting them as they face the deepening drought crisis.

The workshops, to be delivered by qualified trainers, will give practical help, resources and tools for communicating with men who may be in distress and potentially at risk of suicide.  Topics will include recognizing, responding and referring to domestic violence, crisis and mental health including stress, depression, anxiety and suicide, financial abuse, building resilience and strategies for self- care.

The free Workshop in Mudgee will be held on Wednesday 26th September from 1pm - 5pm in the CWA Rooms 48 Market Street Mudgee.

Members of the community can attend by registering their interest on 1300 798 258.
