Meroo Community Hall Christmas Party

The Meroo Community Hall Christmas Party will be on Saturday 1 December at 6.30pm at the Meroo Communty Hall on Queens Pinch Road

Santa will arrive at 8.30pm for the kids. There will be lucky door prizes, raffles and live music. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
Please bring a plate for supper. Come along to have an enjoyable evening for everyone and to support the local Hall.

Fashion Parade and Afternoon tea

A Fashion Parade and Afternoon tea will be held Saturday 20 October at 1.30pm at St Johns Parish Hall. Tickets are $15 at the door or from St John's Anglican Church office. Bookings are essential phone 6372 1126 or email 

There will be a handmade quilt raffled on the day and parade is done by Rockmans Mudgee.

Old Time New Vogue Dance

An Old Time New Vogue Dance in aid of the Baird Institute for heart and lung surgical research will be held Sunday 28 Octoboer from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. There will be a lucky door and raffle prizes, please bring a plate. Admission is $10.

Mudgee Dirtbikes Round 6

Mudgee Dirtbikes Round 6 is on Saturday 20 October from 9am. It is Coalroc Pink Up round in support of the McGrath Foundation. The round is held at AREC Mudgee. 

Coalroc Pink Up Round 6. Final round for the year. Gold coin donation for spectators, Coalroc Pink Up shootout entries and raffle funds all going to the McGrath Foundation. Fantastic prizes on the day, including junior holeshot awards.

Dragon Boating

Dragon Boating is a non-contact, community oriented and low impact sport caternig for all ages over 12, all abilities and all fitness levels. 

Whether you are looking for a sport which is competitive or social, this dragon boating is for you. 

The club currently meet at Windamere Damn Sunday mornings from 9.30am and are normally finished my 11.30am. For further details see

The October Gulgong Markets is on 27 October from 8.30am to around 1pm at Gulgong Coronation Park, Mayne Street

There will be Ye old books, olive oil, Gulgong Pixters Photography, artwork by Merilyn Burch-Carney, handmade pottery, lavender products, honey jams and preserves, plants, handcrafted jewellery, craft and crochet, handbags and glad rags, live music and lots of yummy food.
