CWA Evening Branch September Meeting

The Evening Branch of the Mudgee CWA have their meetings the second Monday of the month at 5.50pm at 48 Market Street. 


Their next meeting will be held on Monday September 9 


If you're new to town or not and would like to meet a dynamic group of ladies, pop in! 


They also have their CWA Hall available for hire. 

Brian Letton @ Ilford Hall

Brian Letton will be performing at the Ilford Hall on Sunday August 25, the show commencing at 1pm

A sausage sizzle will be available from midday, cold drinks and free tea & coffee all afternoon. Tickets are $20 and will be on sale at the door. A raffle will be run as well as a lucky door prize. 

All proceeds of the event will be doing to the Kandos Community Charity Shop Building Fund.

The CWA Evening Branch are having an Awareness Day on Friday 6th September 9.30am – 12noon at the CWA rooms 48 Market Street. The event is named “START A SCONVERSATION” inviting our community to pop in and have a cuppa, scone & chat to raise awareness for Women's mental health.

The event is free & people are encouraged to drop in.

Year 12 Charity Golf Day

Mudgee High School Year 12 Charity Golf Day is on Sunday 1 September (Father's Day). Funds raised will go towards Mudgee High School's Rainbow Day efforts for 2019.
Rainbow Day efforts for 2019 are going to NSW Rural Fire Services

See the Pro Shop (at Mudgee Golf Club) to enter your teams. 4 person ambrose. $35/person (every ticket gets you a sandwich from the BBQ)
9.30am arrival for a 10am shotgun start.

August Gulgong Markets

The August Gulgong Markets is on Saturday 24 August starting around 8.30am and finishing at 1pm at Coronation Park, Mayne Street,Gulgong, in case of wet weather the Markets will be held at the Gulgong Memorial Hall, Herbert Street, Gulgong

Rug up and stroll around the stalls, enjoy the lovely market atmosphere and have a chat to the makers and creators who bring their produce, art and craft. From homemade soaps and lavender products to locally made olive oil, jams, sauces and relishes. Whilst browsing along you can listen to live music and enjoy Asian finger food or relax with a 15 minute head, neck and shoulder massage or a short Bowen treatment.

Cudgegong Valley Public School P&C Fundraiser

The P&C from Cudgegong Valley Public School will be holding a canteen at the Zone Athletics Carnival to raise funds towards the development of a multi-sports court. Come down and support your local community and grab a warm coffee, bacon & egg roll or slice of cake while you watch.

August's Cars N Coffee will be held on Saturday 18 August from 8.30am to 11.30am at the Mudgee Railway Station.

ALL makes and age of vehicles, trucks or motorcycles. Bring your Vehicle of Interest and enjoy talking to owners who are happy to discuss their vehicles or motorcycles and enjoy a coffee and a sausage or steak sandwich. Historic Fire Engines will be celebrated.
