International Day of People with Disability Morning Tea

VERTO is hosting an International Day of People with Disability Morning Tea. Everyone is invited to come along and celebrate the contributions, skills and achievements of people with disability with local leaders, business owners and VERTO clients.

It's Monday 4th December at 10:30am - VERTO Shop 4/47-55 Market Street, Mudgee

The International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations sanctioned day that is celebrated internationally. It aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate the achievements and contributions of people with disability. The theme for 2017 IDPwD is “transformation towards a sustainable and resilient society for all”. The overarching principle of this theme is to ensure no-one is left behind and empowers people with disability to continue to be active contributors in our society.

Target UnitingCare Christmas Appeal 2017

The Uniting Care & Target Country Christmas Appeal is on again in 2017. The program provides support to those in our community who need a bit of support at what can be sometimes a difficult time of the year. Organisers aim to raise over $1.5 million dollars in 2017. 

Target and UnitingCare have made it easy to contribute by simply purchasing an Appeal bauble for $1 or giving an unwrapped gift at the Mudgee store. 

The Target UnitingCare Australia Christmas appeal launches in Target Country Mudgee on the 6th of November and runs through to 24th of December



December Rylstone Artisan & Produce Market

The last Rylstone Artisan & Produce Market for 2017 will be held on Saturday the 9th of December at the Rylstone Memorial Hall between 9am and 1pm

If you're stuck for ideas on what to grab your friends or loved ones for Christmas don't despair as the talented artisans and producers of the Rylstone area and surrounds will be able to help you out!

The Baird Institute Christmas Ball that was due to be held this Sunday has been cancelled. 

The organisers apologise for any inconvenience. The Ball will return again sometime in 2018.

Christmas at Cooyal

It's all happening at Cooyal this festive season. 

  • On Saturday 25th of November at 4pm a Gala Night at Old Cooyal Hotel will be held, it'll include entertainment, raffles, a BBQ and a chocolate wheel. Donations for the raffle will be placed in the basket at the hotel. All proceeds will go to the Cooyal Community. 

  • A Christmas Service will be held at St Andrew's Church in Cooyal on Sunday 3rd of December at 10am. Please bring party food and drink to share afterwards. 

  • Cooyal Hall Christmas Tree is on Saturday 2nd of December and Santa arrives at 6pm. Parents please bring a plate of party food and a gift for each child to the value of $10 only. Luky door prize, chocolate wheel, toys, hams, chickens and wines to be won. Enquiries should be made to Joyce on 6373 5211.   


Rylstone Public School P&C 100 Club Raffle

Rylstone Public School P&C 100 Club Raffle was drawn on 28th October 2017 at the Rylstone Street Feast.

First prize of $4,000 went to Peter Thompson. Second to tenth prizes of $100 went to; Mudgee Honda Centre, Mudgee Glass,Solar Pumping Solutions, Michael Gordon- Sydney Roosters, Jack O'Toole, Wildcats, Shannon and Darren Morris, Josh Smith and Jim Guilfoyle. 

Rylstone Public School P And C would really like to thank the community who got involved with this terrific fundraiser.

Ernie Constance will be performing live at Ilford Hall on Sunday 26th of November at 1pm. A sausage sizzle will be available from 12pm for $4.

Afternoon supper at $4, cold drinks $1.50 with free tea & coffee all afternoon. 

Tickets are $20 and will b for sale at the door. There will be a raffle and a lucky door prize. All proceeds from this event will be going to the Kandos Community Charity Shop Building Fund

Cudgegong Combined Churches Community Christmas Lunch is on Monday 25th of December from 11:30am for a 12pm seating at Mudgee Baptist Church, Bruce Rd Mudgee.
 
It's on for anyone in the community who might be on their own at Christmas, or would just like to join us to celebrate Christmas, the combined churches of Mudgee would like to invite you to our Community Christmas Lunch on Christmas Day.
