Basso joined the 2MG team on afternoons back in 2001, and took over the role of Weekday Breakfast not long after.

As the stations Music Director, one of his passions is "Classic Hits", and some of his favourite music includes CCR, Beatles, Eagles & Fleetwood Mac.

2010 one of Basso's favourite years, as both his beloved Collingwood Magpies (AFL) and St George Illawarra Dragons (NRL) won the Grand Finals.
